Building Leadership  &Self Confidence

For more than fifty years, the Atlanta Pony Club has provided support and guidance to its members as they grow and develop into young adults. Our singular focus has been to assist children in building leadership skills and self confidence through the challenges of working with horses and learning the proper skills of horse management.

The Atlanta Pony Club, through its association with the United States Pony Club, has a well organized and exciting program that provides a variety of opportunities for young persons to enjoy horses and meet new friends. The structured program includes competitive rallies and educational meetings that allow the members to not only learn the proper and safe way to ride a horse, but also lets them learn much needed social skills in a "horse friendly" environment.
